Kelvin was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of the Australian Capital Territory and the High Court of Australia in 1997. Since admission, Kelvin has worked at the Australian Taxation Office followed by private practice for 16 years before working in the litigation division of the Commonwealth government at Canberra.

Kelvin is a graded arbitrator and qualified mediator together with being an accredited Queensland Law Society duty lawyer since 2001.

Other admissions include, the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 1998, and Queensland in 2000. Kelvin’s legal interests include Insolvency, Taxation and Judicial Review.
