Caroline completed her Articles of Apprenticeship at the Department of Public Prosecutions Tasmania in Hobart in the Criminal and Civil areas and Tasmania Police Southern Prosecution in summary prosecutions.

Caroline has held Public Health Law and Policy roles within Tasmanian Health Service and was a public health prosecutor also having a wide experience in the alcohol, tobacco and other drugs field often appearing in therapeutic courts including Court Mandated Diversion, specialising in the area of therapeutic jurisprudence.

In her current criminal law practice Caroline specialises in the defence of major crime appearing regularly the Supreme Court of Tasmania and in summary prosecutions in  Magistrates court matters including dishonesty, traffic, drug matters, sexual offences and offences of violence, public disorder matters and firearms matters.
