Claire Wong was admitted to the Tasmanian Bar in 2019. Prior to this, she was admitted to the Supreme Court in Victoria in 2016 where she practiced as a solicitor advocate in a specialist criminal law firm and then at Victorian Legal Aid.

Claire accepts briefs in all areas of law, but specialises in the area of criminal law. Claire has Chambers in Hobart and Sydney.

She graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2015 with a Juris Doctor, having also obtained a Bachelor of Arts and a Diploma of Music. During her studies, she volunteered and worked as a legal clerk with both the Victorian and Aboriginal Legal Services. She currently sits as a member of the Criminal Law Committee of the Tasmanian Law Society as well as a member of the Australian Lawyers Alliance. She is a preferred Counsel for the Prisoners Legal Service in Tasmania.
