Greg has written four books on Australian politics, is a former President and now a Spokesman of the Australian Lawyers Alliance, and Chair of the Tasmanian Prisoners Legal Service. He is an adviser to Julian Assange and WikiLeaks. Greg writes a weekly column in the Hobart Mercury and regularly writes on legal policy issues for Fairfax Media.  Greg is a Tasmanian Patron of the national Justice Reform Initiative.

Greg accepts pro bono briefs.

In addition Greg is a sessional lecturer in the JD Program at RMIT University and teaches Innovative Justice and Jurisprudence.
