Jennifer graduated from the University of Tasmania in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts and Law with First Class Honours in Law. She was the recipient of a National Undergraduate Scholarship and the Tasmania Honours Scholarship and various academic prizes. Following admission to the Supreme Court of Tasmania in 2011, Jennifer served as Associate to the Hon Justice Middleton in the Federal Court of Australia.

Before coming to the Bar, Jennifer practised as a solicitor for over 10 years, first at a national firm in Melbourne and then at Dobson Mitchell Allport in Hobart. She has experience in a broad range of commercial, civil and administrative matters. She has appeared in the Federal Court of Australia and a number of State-based courts and tribunals.

Jennifer is currently acting chair of Adventure Patch Limited, a not-for-profit company which provides childcare services state-wide. She is also a member of the Local Government Code of Conduct Panel and the local Federal Court of Australia Users’ Group.
