Jonathon was born and raised in Hobart, graduating from the University of Tasmania law school in 1998. Prior to coming to the Bar in 2010, Jonathon was a solicitor at Harris Carlson Lawyers and Phillips Fox (now DLA Piper). He has also worked in a tax consulting role with Deloitte and as a sessional lecturer and tutor of Contract Law at Victoria University.
