Megan accepts briefs in a broad range of matters, both civil and criminal. She has appeared in a variety of courts and tribunals, both led and unled, in Tasmania and Victoria.

Megan holds a Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Laws with First Class Honours in Law from the University of Tasmania, where she received the subject prize for Corporations Law and was on the Dean’s Roll of Excellence. She is currently undertaking her PhD in law. 

She has over 10 years’ experience in the legal industry prior to being called to the bar, having commenced her legal career in commercial, employment and insurance law with Hunt and Hunt Lawyers and later M+K Dobson Mitchell Allport Lawyers, in Hobart. Following these roles, Megan worked at the Victorian Court of Appeal, including as an associate and researcher to the judiciary and later with the Australian Federal Police in a litigation role. 

Megan is a current International Editor of the Cambridge Law Review and has presented at the University of Cambridge on corruption issues.
